For contractual reasons, Monty Norman was give sole credit for having
written the James Bond theme for Dr. No. As we know, what we hear on the
movie soundtrack was arranged and changed by John Barry.

I've never heard what Norman actually wrote.

Good for him for making it to 94 in reasonable health.
